Abstract: This article is about a study that aims recognition of freeform objects during manufacturing and integration with Computer Aided Design systems. Implicit polynomial models and invariants were utilized for recognition of the objects and 100% success was achieved in laboratory conditions. To integrate the study with the Computer Aided Design systems, the parameters that are utilized by Computer Aided Systems were transformed into implicit polynomial representations. However it was found out that the invariants belonging to the transformed CAD represantations are not exactly same as the invariants which are deriven from implicit polynomial fits, thus the integration process are left out for future studies.
