ABSTRACT: Classification of steel surfaces according to their surface properties is considered in this paper. For this purpose three statistical pattern recognition and two artificial neural networks classifiers are applied on the features formed from steel surfaces. To test the effectiveness of combining the results of different classifiers, majority vote rule is also tested with the same feature set
